Lynn, a 22-year-old, resides with her brother in Berlin, where she enjoys the benefits of a familial environment without really feeling like she is a part of it. She does not have any specific goals in life, but her straightforward and extemporaneous character manages to pique the interest of many individuals. Her boyfriend, David, is vastly different - he is entirely focused on his arduous swimming training for the impending world championships, and is not willing to allow a relationship with Lynn to distract him from it. However, when Lynn, working as a cashier at a restaurant, crosses paths with Koji, a Japanese student, things become more complex.
