The Russian Road to Life is a film that emerged during the Stalinist regime, and despite its origins, it presents a surprisingly hopeful view of things. The movie focuses on a group of child actors who portray the lives of street children living in Moscow after the Bolshevik revolution. These kids go through various harrowing challenges until they are ultimately taken in and taught valuable life skills by compassionate members of Soviet society.
