Faye set up her camping van by a lake on a mountain and rhythmically cooked a meal, retrieving crawfish from a trap and scanning her old box radio for a station. She eagerly awaited the arrival of a childhood friend she hadn't seen in decades, explaining to nearby campers that she was waiting for him. When he finally arrived, Lito and Faye, both widowed, spent an evening reminiscing about their lives, losses, and loneliness.
