不过，其角色目前未知，其他演员还有达科塔·约翰逊、西德妮·斯威尼、塞莱斯特·奥康纳、伊莎贝拉·默塞德、塔哈·拉希姆等人。漫画中蜘蛛夫人通常是上了年纪的盲人女子卡桑德拉·韦伯，因神经肌肉系统得病，她行动和呼吸都不方便，需要连着如蜘蛛网一般的维生系统。她有预知能力，曾帮蜘蛛侠找到被绑架人员。电影将会对此设定进行改编，她跟“多元宇宙”有联系，也可能是开启多个宇宙的重要人物。
《蜘蛛夫人》是索尼的漫威角色宇宙中第一部以女性为主角的超英电影，由S·J·克拉克森执导，马特·萨兹马＆伯克·沙普利斯编剧，2023年7月7日北美上映。
