《雷神4》故事设定在《复仇者联盟4：终局之战》成功击败灭霸恢复和平后。该片除了雷神故事线索外，娜塔莉·波特曼所扮演的女主角简·福斯特也将会有一条重要故事线，将于7月8日北美上映。
