电影讲述了警官张振泽与搭挡小蔡找寻多起凶杀案背后的关联时，与一名陌生男子莫子凡（莫子仪 饰）相遇。历史的旧账，像是岁月的余烬，表面静好的岁月，背后有多少遗忘与秘密？
电影《余烬》由钟孟宏自编自导，张震、莫子仪、许玮甯、金士杰、刘冠廷等出演。值得一提的是，本片也是张震在继电影《停车》16年后，与导演钟孟宏的再度合作。影片将于11月15日在中国台湾上映。
