影片由梁礼彦（《叶问4》《杀破狼·贪狼》）编剧并执导，郑伊健、陈卓贤、许恩怡、蔡思韵等主演，讲述了乐手苏升华应约远赴日本，把旧爱夏文萱的骨灰撤掉，却发现跟他上路的神秘女孩，竟是从少女时代穿越回来的旧爱本人。在影片中，陈卓贤将饰演学生时期的苏生华，同样，蔡思韵和许恩怡也将饰演不同阶段的夏文萱。
